![]() With an ultrawide you could just use the main massive stand for a small center speaker, but I can't afford that desk space. I have an Ergotron HX with the heavy duty pivot for my CHG90, and after trying 3 cheaper arms I can tell you rn that the only good desk mounted arm option for a 49" Samsung with an 1800R curve or 1000R curve is the Ergotron HX + HD pivot for $340USD (or you can find a used HX and order the pivot separately like I did). I don't use an arm for my LG 48" bc IMO the monitor should actually be a little lower than the top of my desk, and the top half of the TV is so fragile I'm worried about it smashing into my hutch or an adjacent monitor. I ended up mounting the center upsidedown, above my 48" on a "desk hutch," pointing down at me.Īn arm may also work for the center speaker/large screen problem, and the cheaper arms may work for a 43" non-ultrawide without a curve. I have the same problem with the 5.1 setup and 48" screen.
